Project proposal
Proposal on Conversion of World Broadcast Two-Dimensional TV System into
Three-Dimensional Mode with Utilization of Standard TV Signal
Project name:
Development and Manufacture of Optical Element Converting Two-Dimensional
TV Format 21” – 40” Image into Three-Dimensional One.
Company Name:
Inventor: Georgy Georgiyevich
GOLENKO.
Born in 1946 in Moscow. In1972 he graduated from Moscow Institute of Steel
and Alloys on speciality: “Physics of Semi-Conductors and Dielectrics”.
After graduating from the Institute he worked in Moscow Scientific and
Research Television Institute on the problem “Holographic Video
Recording”. For thirteen years he worked in Scientific and Research
Cinema and Photo Institute (NIKFI) where he performed research in the
field of metrics of three-dimensional image, of holographic synthesis
of multi stereo mate images, of pictorial holography, of Lipman integral
holography, of holographic cinema, of optic and holographic circuit technology,
of three-dimensional image generation out of a common two-dimensional
one. In 1986 he defended a thesis on the problem of three-dimensional
holographic image generation problem for nature scenes and for objects
with unlimited depth, by means of non-laser method. He is the author of
about 50 scientific articles, inventors certificate and patents.
Applicant: Sergey Petrovich MIKHAILOV.
He graduated from Rizhsky Electromechanical College in
1973 on speciality “Metal Cutting”.
In 1982 he graduated from Latvian State University on speciality: «Applied
Mathematics».
He worked as a designer at Rizhsky Electromechanical VEF Plant and as
a foreman at Rizhsky Carriage Building RVZ Plant. He worked as an engineer
in Polymer Mechanics Institute of Academy of Science of Latvia. Starting
from 1994 he has been the founder and Director general of ZAO DIO.
In 1997 he received a patent for a game of billiard type. The game was
manufactured and distributed by ZAO DIO Company.

Development Target:
Manufacture of TV sets, monitors, plasmic panels with three-dimensional
image effect.
Project Summary:
Stages of work:
0 – development and analysis of optical scheme of a specific emitting
surface under the technical provisions of manufacturing company: optical
drawing of the transmitter (television tube), frontal distribution of
pixels, etc.
1 – calculation of the optical element.
2 – selection of manufacturing company and coordination of technical
Assignment.
3- analysis of documentation presented by the company – maker of
design documentation.
4- elaboration of optical elements testing methods.
5- manufacture and testing of intermediate samples.
6 – manufacture and testing final sample.
7 – arrangement of the optical element into the casing with a standard
customer’s monitor.
Development period: 6-12
months.
Technology Description: Optical
element consists of very small lenses of specific shape.
Distance from the TV screen is 35 - 50 mm. A mould for manufacture of
optical elements shall be made.
Optical elements shall be manufactured by molding or by rolling.
Core Technology Solutions: Molding
or Rolling.
Advantages: Special
spectacles are not required for generation of three-dimensional image.
Deliverables: Phased
report in accordance with the approved plan - estimate.
Application: All kinds
of domestic and office appliances with screens (monitors) for image demonstration.
TV sets, monitors of computers etc.
Prototype and sample availability:
An experimental sample has been made. This sample maintains a small effect
of three-dimensional image. In order to obtain good effect a precision
machine-tool is necessary, which gives the opportunity to process the
item with optical accuracy.
Intellectual Property:
There is a Decision as regards granting a patent as per Application RU2001124759.
Application PCT/RU02/00418 was submitted. We offer transmission of rights
under the present patent and KNOW-HOW for manufacture of an experimental
sample for the price of $ ............ For the time of manufacture of
an experimental sample ... shall be granted under the following provisions:
Expected form of cooperation:
Transfer of patent rights. Work on manufacture of an experimental sample.
Authors’ supervision of the project (elaboration of industrial samples
for other TV standards and formats (screen dimensions) other physical
image carriers.
